Terms of Use

1. Not medical advice — wellness tool only

Overthinkr is a wellness and self-help tool. It is not a medical device, mental health treatment, or therapy service.

By using Overthinkr, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The app is designed for general wellness and overthinking management only
• Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Milo, the AI coach, is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, counsellor, or any kind of mental health professional
• AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific situation
• You should not delay seeking professional help because of anything you read or experience in this app
• We are not responsible for any mental health outcomes, decisions made, or actions taken based on content in the app

The app is intended as a complementary tool alongside — not a replacement for — professional mental health support.

2. Age eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Overthinkr.

• By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older
• Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should use the app with the knowledge and guidance of a parent or guardian
• If we discover that a user is under 13, their account will be immediately terminated and their data deleted
• Parents or guardians who believe their child under 13 is using the app should contact us at hello@overthinkr.me

3. Subscriptions and billing

Overthinkr offers optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features including the Milo AI coach.

Subscription terms

• Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis (pricing shown at point of purchase)
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time via: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Overthinkr → Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

Refunds

All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com

4. Community guidelines

Overthinkr's community feature allows users to share anonymously. To keep it a safe and supportive space, you agree not to post content that:

• Harasses, bullies, threatens, or targets any individual or group
• Contains hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Glorifies, promotes, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
• Contains sexually explicit, violent, or graphic content
• Spams, advertises, or promotes third-party services
• Shares false or misleading information that could cause harm
• Violates the privacy or intellectual property rights of others

Moderation

• We reserve the right to remove any post that violates these guidelines, without prior notice
• Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination
• If you see content that violates these guidelines, you can report it to hello@overthinkr.me

5. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Use or our Community Guidelines
• Provide false information during registration
• Engage in any conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users, the community, or the service
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the app or its infrastructure
• Are found to be under 13 years of age

Upon termination

• Your access to the app will be immediately revoked
• Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (within 30 days)
• Active subscriptions will not be automatically refunded — please request a refund through Apple

Appeals

If you believe your account was terminated in error, you may appeal by emailing hello@overthinkr.me within 30 days of termination. We will review and respond within 14 days.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Overthinkr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using the app
• We are not liable for any mental health outcomes, emotional distress, or harm resulting from use of or reliance on the app or Milo's AI responses
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim

7. Intellectual property

Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Overthinkr — your thought dumps, worry vault entries, chat messages, and community posts. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Our content

All other content in the app — including the Milo AI character, design, code, branding, copy, and features — is owned by Jakub Radziejewski and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

8. Changes, governing law and disputes

Changes

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union. For EU consumers, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

Disputes

We encourage you to contact us first at hello@overthinkr.me to resolve any dispute. If we cannot reach an agreement, EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
